Singles Want Long Term Relationships

Well its official, according to a Yahoo survey it is true that singles actually do want a serious relationship. This survey found that not only are they longing for true love, they are looking for particulars as well. While the majority of the time for someone, whether it be short term leading to something a little more serious or constantly looking for that possible someone when meeting people in a social, professional or really any kind of setting.

This of course does not mean that all singles are desperately seeking someone, nearly half of most singles surveyed have stated that they are happy being single but do hope for relationship in the future when either they are done having a good time in the dating scene or other commitments like careers, education, and other personal goals. So for the most part singles are enjoying their days right now but do wish for someone to grow old with so to speak.

Most people have a check list when pursuing another someone though, most of the qualities that people are looking for is a sense of humour; lots of it. Having the gift to make someone laugh is an ultimate package for most people and definitely seems to be popular amongst relationship seekers.

Also, don't expect too much for your first date either for romance, 55% of most singles actually prefer not to kiss on the first date so try to do your homework first and be cognicant of others morals.

Singles used in this survey have also indicated that age is not an issue for dating. 73% of singles indicated that someone older then themselves by at least 10 years older is not a deterrent but actually a strong indication of preference.

Seems silly but true - when it comes to preferred undergarment style within male and females, boxers is the way to go with 55% of single men choosing the bulky undergarment and an astounding 70% of women with the preference as well.

When it comes to being sexy on a date most would think martini would be number one but experts prove that the choice of wine is actually considered by 43% of daters to be the sexier more provocative drink. Whether red or white it doesn't matter, but most feel that wine can be easier tolerated because if you are out for the evening and enjoying conversation it is a much easier drink to sip over a long period of time, after all too many drinks may let you be a little more loose lipped than you prefer, so stick to the wine - 1 or 2 glasses looks a lot more in moderation than say a bottle for yourself and then asking what your date would like to drink. Or having to have the waiter come back say every 15 minutes which is the time it takes to drink a small spirit glass.
