Why are so many singles over the age of 30 turning to online match-maker websites.

When we refer to the millions of singles whose lives have been changed with online dating we are talking about a massive number of older singles as well.

According to a survey done in the U.S. that number translates to over 31 million that are over the age of 45 and 51 million singles that are under that age bracket.

Internet Dating for older singles has been proven to be a wonderful thing over the years with success stories and adventures of relationships for the over 40 crowd.

If you are considered the over 40 crowd the chances of being able to go out to public bars (not that that's where you would want to try and meet someone) and the late nights of parties have become few and far between as your life has presented you with more challenges and the adversity of adult responsibility.

Maybe you can no longer just jump up on a moments notice to go surfing or take off for the weekend on a romantic get-away without coordinating your work schedule, ex's schedules if any or if there children involved in the arrangements as well. One 45 year old woman that I know has endured two divorces, two deaths of spouses and a lifetime of otherwise misery. This woman has had nothing but pure enjoyment with the people she has met online. Late night chats and coffee on a regular basis with one Gentlemen has made her feel like she is no longer a prisoner in her own home. Although she feels this is not at all a romantic relationship, but a lifetime friendship that become hard to come by as we take on aging.

This woman was more protective than most and felt that anyone that was online was simply out for romance or stealing her identity. This clearly was not the case for her as 4 years is approaching for her and to this day her coffee friend and her still escape for hours with their life stories and experiences, laughter and tears.
